Look closely at the dark background in the second photo, that isn't the sky.
On my third morning in the Grand Tetons, I woke up to thick valley fog that slowly lifted into a heavy cloud deck resting over the peaks. The overcast light cast deep, cool blue shadows across everything beneath the clouds. That dramatic mountain shadow created a slate-blue backdrop, making the warm autumn yellows along the shoreline pop with incredible contrast.
The first shot gives you the wide perspective at 100mm, while the second punches in at 500mm to frame the shoreline. I love how the weather took a clear, predictable landscape and turned it into something cinematic and unexpected.

Maroon Bells demands that you look up. It fills your vision with towering, jagged fourteeners, mirror like alpine lakes, and dramatic avalanche chutes. It's grande landscapes makes you feel delightfully small. But places of such epic scale can easily trick us into missing the quiet wonders right at our feet.
Midway through the Maroon Creek loop hike, I sat down on a rock next to the creek to grab a quick snack, and noticed morning rain droplets glistening on the leaves like liquid glass. When I'm traveling, it’s so easy to stay in "go mode," racing from one iconic view to the next. Slowing down gave me a moment of beauty that surprised me in ways the grandest peaks never could.

Ending the ultimate road trip with one final night under the stars before the high-res photos are edited and coming soon in future posts.

Chasing the horizon from Aspen all the way down to Valley of the Gods, I spent my last night disperse-camped right in the heart of Utah’s red-rock silence. Tucked just outside of Monument Valley, and a stone’s throw from the iconic Forrest Gump Point on Highway 163, this place is pure Wow! Wandering through the 17-mile loop as towering sandstone spires caught the final, fiery rim-light of sunset was pure magic. Not every turn of the road trip was smooth sailing, but waking up surrounded by massive cliffs before the long stretch home to Arizona was everything I needed. Grateful for the memories, refreshed, and ready for the next chapter.

What started as a two week National Park run turned into a full three week epic road trip!
After tracking down bears in Glacier and wolfs in Yellowstone, social media posts of autumn leaves brought me down to Aspen to photograph the Maroon Bells and catch up with a friend.
While driving up Smuggler’s Road one evening, I spotted mystery lights on the mountain across the valley and knew I had to check out the area. The next day, I pulled up OnX, found a trail, and followed it straight onto a ridge with unbelievable views stretching both east and west.
I had only planned on a quick 4x4 run before heading off to photograph moose, but the stillness up there held me captive for hours. Choosing to spend every single day exploring instead of sitting in coffee shops editing means I came home with a massive stack of photos to go through.
Winging this trip was the exact recharge I needed, and now that I’m back, I’m looking forward to sifting through all the memories. Be on the lookout for lots of posts!

Waking up in my truck camper just outside West Glacier, I stepped out into pure, dense white. Being wrapped in the clouds was incredible, but as I looked around, a wave of doubt crept in, if it looks like this here, was my early morning drive into the park going to be completely blanketed in gray with zero views? I decided to roll the dice anyway and hit the road. Barely half a mile down the mountain, the fog lifted, revealing a stunning truth, what felt like a ruined morning at camp was actually just the opening act for a breathtaking sunrise over Lake McDonald, where dramatic wisps of mist danced across the glass-like water.
It was a striking reminder that conditions can transform entirely in just a few short moments or miles down the road. Every phase of nature has its own beauty, from the quiet, moody tension of a fogged, in my campsite to the jaw-dropping majesty of a sunlit alpine lake. If you haven't driven the Going-to-the-Sun Road yet, put it at the very top of your bucket list!

Everyone knows about Going-to-the-Sun Road, but if friends hadn’t recommend the west side of the park, I would’ve completely missed one of the most breathtaking spots in Glacier National Park, Bowman Lake. The long trek out to the North Fork, winding on and off dirt roads through open meadows and mountain passes, is an adventure in itself, but the payoff is unreal! After stopping by peaceful Kintla Lake just to the north, pulling up to Bowman left me speechlessly soaking in the quiet shoreline.
There is so much beauty in Glacier beyond the main crowd hotspots if you're willing to take the long drive around to the west side. Sitting by that crystal-clear water was purely spectacular! I set up a camera to capture a time-lapse, I can’t wait to check out. Do yourself a favor and put Bowman Lake on your bucket list for your next Glacier trip, swipe through for a few of my favorite views from the shore and enjoy!

No matter how many times I visit the Grand Tetons, it hits me like it’s the very first time. The sheer scale of the peaks, the glassy lakes, and the wildlife leave me speechless every single turn.
being here creates this wild contradiction, part of me wants to sit completely still and soak in the moment, while the other part wants to race around to see every single corner of this place before the sun goes down.
If you’ve never been, add this to your bucket list immediately. And when you come, make sure to spend some time in Jackson Hole! Such a cool town!

I saw a bear today! The brush was to high to photograph it but so cool to see. Can't wait to get to Yellowstone and find more!

After exploring the otherworldly White Pocket, I finally stopped at a hidden gem I’ve had saved for 3 years. The view by the Colorado River is stunning, next time, I’ll be camping here. Southern Utah, I'm ready for my next trip!

This is White Pocket in Arizona. Definitely a bucket list item. Incredible rock formations and similar to the "The Wave", you just don't need a permit.
